| Possibly the coolest media player ever offered as freeware. Sonique does anything WinAmp can do, only it does it a whole lot prettier. Loads of cool-ass anime skins, like Gunnm (Battle Angel Alita) or Evangelion (shown here in a screen cap) . What's best about it is, if you're "upgrading" from WinAmp, Sonique will play ALL your WinAmp playlists, no problem. Check it out! |

| Like Napster, only better. KaZaa allows you to share not only .mp3 files, but also .Mpeg, .Avi, DivX and anything else you care to stick in your Shared folder. Bonus! Unlike Napster, this is FREE!!! (Presumably 'cause the lawyers haven't caught 'em yet. Don't be the one ta squeal, ne?) As fine a piece of piracy as I have ever seen. Arrr... warning! Like most file-sharing programs, this is a bit of a memory hog. Still worth it, if you ask me, but I only thought it fair to warn you. |
